Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“Merchant”, “you”, or “your”) and Aicoso (“we”, “us”, or “our”), governing your installation, access to, and use of the Aicoso share cart link application (the “App”) distributed via the Shopify App Store.

By installing the App from Shopify, authorizing access to your Shopify store, or using any feature of the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must uninstall the App immediately.

2. Description of the Service

Aicoso share cart link provides tools and theme extensions enabling merchants and their storefront shoppers to create, copy, and share pre-loaded shopping carts via unique links across messaging platforms, social media, and email channels. Features include:

  • Storefront cart sharing widgets and buttons embedded via Shopify Theme App Extensions.
  • Merchant admin cart builder for curated marketing, customer support, and influencer outreach.
  • Optional discount code pre-attachment and custom line-item notes.
  • Aggregated click-through, restoration, and channel performance analytics.

3. Merchant Eligibility & Responsibilities

To use this App, you represent and warrant that:

  • You operate an active Shopify merchant store in good standing with Shopify Inc.
  • You have full power, authority, and legal capacity to enter into this agreement on behalf of yourself or the business entity you represent.
  • You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Shopify store credentials and administrative account.
  • You comply with all applicable consumer protection, privacy, and advertising laws in the jurisdictions where you conduct business.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

When using Aicoso share cart link, you agree NOT to:

  • Use generated cart links to distribute unsolicited commercial communications, spam, phishing schemes, or misleading advertisements.
  • Manipulate or reverse engineer the App's code, bypass API rate limits, or disrupt our backend infrastructure.
  • Use the App to promote illegal products, deceptive promotions, or items that violate Shopify's Acceptable Use Policy (AUP).
  • Misrepresent link contents, prices, or attached discounts to mislead end consumers.

5. Subscriptions, Fees & Shopify Billing

All billing, subscription management, and payments for Aicoso share cart link are processed exclusively through Shopify's official Billing API:

  • Plan Tiers: Pricing tiers, included feature limits, and applicable trial periods are detailed on our Shopify App Store listing and inside the app admin dashboard.
  • Free Trials: Any applicable free trial allows full access to plan features for the stated period. Unless canceled prior to trial expiration, subscription charges will be billed through your Shopify invoice.
  • Cancellation & Refunds: You may cancel your subscription at any time by uninstalling the App or selecting the Free plan in your dashboard. Because all fees are billed through Shopify, refund requests are evaluated subject to Shopify's merchant billing policies.

6. Data Rights & Privacy

Our handling of merchant and cart data is governed by our Privacy Policy. We do not collect or store buyer payment information or credit card numbers. All checkout and payment operations are conducted exclusively through Shopify Checkout.

Upon app uninstallation, we process mandatory Shopify shop data redaction webhooks (shop/redact) and delete stored merchant configuration and cart links within 48 hours.

7. Intellectual Property

Aicoso retains all rights, title, and interest in and to the App, including all source code, software, algorithms, UI designs, trademarks, and documentation. You are granted a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App solely on your authorized Shopify storefront for the duration of your active installation.

8. Service Availability & Modifications

We strive to provide 99.9% uptime and reliable performance for generated cart links. However, we do not warrant that the App will be completely uninterrupted or error-free. We reserve the right to modify, update, enhance, or temporarily suspend features for maintenance with reasonable prior notice when feasible.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

Warranty Disclaimer: The App is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise.

Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aicoso shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of sales, lost profits, data loss, or business interruption arising out of or in connection with the use or inability to use the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

10. Termination

You may terminate this agreement at any time by uninstalling the App from your Shopify admin. Aicoso reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that harms our systems, Shopify's platform, or other merchants.
